Data Analyst/Revenue Officer

DBOS is looking for an experienced Data Analyst/Revenue Officer is responsible for overseeing the revenue management and distribution strategy of the team. You will analyse the trend for a national independent Australian car rental company and will play a critical role in financial success.


  • Develop, implement and drive pricing strategies across assigned portfolio through the analysis of daily competitor pricing, current business trends and historical data
  • Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices
  • Analysing booking patterns and market trends
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports and present result to operations and upper management
  • Monitoring of competitor performance
  • Produce forecast revenue performance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operations and Marketing Managers
  • Embed a revenue management culture in throughout multiple locations
  • Optimise revenue through all channels direct and aggregators, resulting in yield & occupancy maximisation
  • Conduct regular revenue meetings with Operations Manager to identify market opportunities and plan ongoing revenue generation initiatives
  • Resolve operational challenges with professionalism through innovation and leadership
  • Ensures information regarding pricing strategies is communicated to the reservation, sales and marketing departments in a timely manner to ensure all systems are aligned
  • Oversee the implementation of appropriate data analytics tools, as well as other revenue cycle and financial controls activities
  • Ensure smooth running of the day to day operations for the Reservations Department
  • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximize yield across all departments

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or College Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance or any the related field
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Revenue Manager or Business Analyst
  • Experience with Cars plus software or a similar DOS based program essential
  • Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyse business development opportunities and work in a self-directed environment
  • Should have experience in financial report, market trend and competitor analysis
  • Must be passionate in helping the company grow the business
  • Creative and open to new ideas in providing marketing strategies
  • Knowledgeable in CRM based software
  • Strong attention to details and work ethic
  • Solid sales experience required
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
